George Schmidt Center
George Schmidt Centre is a 18 month supportive housing program for adult men wishing to continue their wellness and recovery journey. The facility is located on the Kinghaven Treatment Centre campus in Abbotsford BC. It consists of 90 self-contained bachelor suites with a client lounge, fitness room and laundry facilities.
Built with the support of BC Housing each suite includes a kitchen and private bath with coin operated laundry facilities available on site. Limited parking is available for those who have a vehicle.

Our Mission

The clients participating in the George Schmidt Centre program are committed to an abstinence based wellness and recovery lifestyle. The clients will work with staff on individual planning to support independence which could included employment readiness, life skills, onsite medical and physiatry services, onsite pharmacy and OATS therapy and referrals to community programs and services to support a seamless transition to community .
